Parade (book by Alfred Uhry, music and lyrics by Jason Robert Brown, co-conceived by Harold Prince) was presented by Lincoln Center Theater (André Bishop, artistic director, Bernard Gersten, executive producer) in association with Livent (U.S.) Inc. at the Vivian Beaumont Theater, Lincoln Center, New York, New York for performances beginning November 12, 1998. Press opening was December 17, 1998, and the final performance was February 28, 1999. Scenic design by Riccardo Hernandez, costume design by Judith Dolan, lighting design by Howell Binkley, sound design by Jonathan Deans, hair and wig design by Paul Huntley, casting by Beth Russell and Mark Simon, musical direction by Eric Stern, orchestrations by Don Sebesky, choreography by Patricia Birch and direction by Harold Prince. The national tour of Parade was presented by Theater Of The Stars (Chris Manos, executive producer), opening June 13, 2000 in Atlanta, GA, and playing its final performance on October 29, 2000 in Cleveland, OH. The designers were the same as the original Lincoln Center Production, except the sound designer was Duncan Edwards, and the musical director was Jason Robert Brown.
